# Clearing Your Cache

First you need to find your 'FiveM Application Data' folder. An easy way to do this is to enter `%localappdata%\FiveM\FiveM.app/data` in your Windows Explorer address bar or the Start Menu.

Once inside the FiveM Application Data folder, go into the data folder and delete the following three folders:

1. `./cache/`
2. `./server-cache-priv/`
3. `./server-cache/`

{% hint style="danger" %}
Don't delete the game game-storage folder; you'll be forced to re-download the game cache which may lead to issues.
{% endhint %}

Once those files are deleted you are done! You can now re-open FiveM and join the server again.

{% hint style="warning" %}
After clearing your cache you will have to re-download the servers assets again upon your first time rejoining **after** you cleared your cache. This extended join time will only occur once after clearing your cache.
{% endhint %}
