Server Restarts

This information is in regards to when the server will restart and what will happen as well as what you should do.

To ensure the server is running smoothing, it will restart once a day at 5:00 AM Pacific Standard Time.

To maintain immersion within game, if a server restart is about to occur, all members are to refer to restarts as "bad-storms" or something of similar nature. Doing so will ensure character immersion is maintained and you are not going 'out of character'.

Prior notice to a server restart will be given in the form of a notification from txAdmin on the top of your screen. Upon receiving the first notification you should wrap up any ongoing roleplay scenario and promptly exit the server. Once the server is restarted you are free to return.

Emergency services will be temporarily suspended 15 minutes before the server restart (from the first restart notification). This is done to ensure that roleplay scenarios are not interrupted.

Server restarts can be executed by the servers Development Team, Ownership Team, and Management Team. Should the server be restarted at an irregular time by one of these teams, a notice will be issued giving you ample time to finish what you are doing. Restarts take anywhere from 5-10 minutes to complete depending on if changes were made to the server or not.
