Callsigns

Each Department is issued up to 200 callsigns. You can identify a department member based on their callsigns. The range for each department is as follows:

Callsign List:

Blaine/Los Santos County Sheriff's Office 401 - 599

Los Santos Police Department 201 - 399

San Andreas State Police 801 - 901

Any Department Members 101 - 199

Owners & Management 001 - 025

Callsign Rules

  1. Command Staff are to use the first 5 callsigns. [Example: 301, 302, 303, 304, 305] They should be distributed based on rank, with the highest rank getting the 01, and descending from there.

  2. Department Staff are assigned the 06 trough 15. [Example: 306, 307, 308, 309, 310 would be for Captains, 311, 312, 313, 314, 315 are for Lieutenants

  3. The remainder of the department callsigns are assigned based on the policies of each department, once a callsign is assigned, it does not change until the person is promoted to department staff.

  4. Retirement Callsigns: Once a person retires, they may choose to retire with their old callsign, or pick a new one if available. Retirees may not use any of the first 15 callsigns assigned to a department for their retirement callsign. Once a callsign is chosen, it will be formatted as [X-000].

  5. Repeating triple digit callsigns will not be permitted for active or retired members.
